Former Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro center Jason Kelce denied being drunk during to his Monday Night Countdown and Monday Night Football appearances after being seen dancing wildly and throwing beers into a crowd.

"Zero beers," Jason said when his brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, presumed he was "in and out of being drunk since about noon" prior to the appearance at Lincoln Financial Field during the latest episode of their New Heights podcast released on Wednesday (September 18).

The Eagles legend said he probably tossed about 100 beers at the Philadelphia fans but "didn't drink one."

“Do you know how hard that was?” Jason asked. “I’m a professional, Travis. I don’t mess around.”

The former All-Pro center was officially announced to join ESPN in May, two months after announcing his retirement.

“I did my due diligence, you want to make sure you’re really looking at things, talking to people that are knowledgeable in the industry — neither one of us have ever done something like this. Throughout the whole process, meeting and talking to everyone over at ESPN, it became apparent that it was really the right fit and at the end of the day, something that I’m really, really looking forward to this next phase,” Jason said during an episode of his and Travis' New Heights podcast earlier this year.

Kelce is one of the most celebrated players in Eagles history, starting at center in all 193 games of his 13-year NFL career, including the franchise's lone Super Bowl victory in Super Bowl LII, while being selected as a first-team All-Pro six times (2017-19, 2021-23) and Pro Bowler seven times (2014, 2016, 2019-23).
