Ray Vaughn is going after Joey Bada$$ and others in his vicious new freestyle.

The TDE signee dropped new song "Crashout Heritage" on Wednesday, January 8. In his freestyle over the instrumental to Kendrick Lamar's "The Heart Pt. 6," Vaughn calls out Bada$$ by name and returns fire after the Pro Era rapper dissed West Coast rappers on his recent song "The Ruler's Back."

"What's with the sneak dissin'? Takin' shots at us, then hide the Uzi/'Cause the only badass the world was recognizin' is Boosie," Vaughn spits. "Please don't get confused with shootin' the movies, we really shootin'/Was on Soul album, so if you ask me, you look like a goofy."

"Man, f**k bein' buddy-buddy with n****s dissin' in public/But see us in private and try to act like a distant cousin," he continues. "We ain't doin' no budgin', we ain't dappin' and huggin'/And if we gotta stand alone, we gon' stand alone like a plug-in/I love it, and all the distance we been gettin' from y'all, just double it/As long as we got Mustard, then we gon' keep movin' upwards."

Vaughn makes a couple of references to Bada$$'s ties to the West Coast. The Brooklyn rapper previously teamed up with Ab-Soul on "Moonshooter" — a stand-out track on his 2022 album Herbert. He also recruited ScHoolboy Q for his song "Rockabye Baby" off his 2017 LP All-Amerikkkan Bada$$. Although he gets most of the heat on this song, Joey isn't the victim in Vaughn's track.

Tory Lanez and DDG were also mentioned on the record. After calling out Joey, Vaughn shifts his focus to the troubled singer and reveals he fell out with Lanez after he went to prison. He also takes a jab at podcaster Mal, who reacted by dropping some laughing emojis under his snippet of the song.

"Tory, you should bĐľ ashamed of yourself/'Cause DDG needed to sell, you did a verse from a cell," Vaughn raps. "'Fore you went the jail, in the booth, me and you was Kenan and Kel/Stranger things happened on the mic' when n****s beef over Ls/Don't think you shot her, I was prayin' for your freedom as well/You loyal to rappers in your early days you beefed with as well/If ain't no friendlies in the 6, then we gon' blick you as well/Shoulda did sixty days in for a podcast/I treat Mal like orders from Temu, he'll get boxed bad."
