Jill Scott is back with her first album in 11 years.
On Friday, February 13, the veteran R&B singer delivered her new album To Whom This May Concern via Blues Babe Records/Human Re Sources. The 19-track album opens with a powerful collaboration with spoken word and soul artist Maha Adachi Earth followed by other stand-out tracks like "Norf Side" with Tierra Whack, the album's lead single "Pressha," "Me 4," which samples Birdman and Clipse's "What Happened To That Boy," and more. Scott also taps other superstars like Trombone Shorty, Too $hort, JID, Ab-Soul, DJ Premier, Adam Blackstone and more to contribute.
"I put my ALL into this album," Jilly from Philly wrote after dropping the album. "Thank you for your listening ears. Can you hear the call???? I did this for US."
Jill Scott dropped a couple of tracks before she announced her long-awaited sixth album at the top of 2026. Since then, she's traveled all over the world to promote the project from the U.S. to the U.K. To celebrate the album's release, Scott appeared on The Breakfast Club to provide more insight on her latest body of work. You can catch the entire episode exclusively on Netflix, but watch a clip from her conversation with the crew below.
